To retain proprietorship and ensure the maintenance of the Whitianga Rescue Helicopter Base & under the terms of the MOU with the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust the two trusts work together to provide a world class emergency helicopter service to the people and communities of the Coromandel Peninsula and work together to maximise fundraising opportunities.
