Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

(a) To assist the Te Kopuru Volunteer Fire Brigade to improve in all aspects of fire safety promotion, fire suppression, rescue and emergency response for the betterment of the community. (b) Act, when required, as auxiliaries to North Kaipara Volunteer Coastguard Air Sea Rescue Inc, according to the memorandum of understanding. (c) Providing emergency response and support as required by the community and other organizations. (d) Encourage safety within the community. (e) Maintain and manage the Society's physical resources. (f) Purchase, sell and upgrade equipment, vehicles, boats, land and buildings in order to meet the above objectives. (g) Undertake fundraising activities and apply for other funding in order to meet the above objectives. (h) Do anything necessary or helpful to the above purposes.
