Charitable Purpose

Maketu EduCare Trust is a community based early childcare centre in a low socio-economic area dedicated to providing provide high quality early education, enthusiasm and nurturing. We run on a not for profit, break-even basis so no one requires a financial return. Most parents would agree that children are too precious for profit! In a small, low socio-economic rural community it is difficult to keep asking the same people continuously to support our fundraising activities. We have to look out of the area. The business arm has now ceased operations and the rust is now giving out grants for educational purposes.
