Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Give children an authentic and professional stage experience. The annual show and other performance opportunities enable children to put into practice the many skills they learn during the formal programme. Public performances challenge and enrich our children, set goals for them to work towards, increase confidence and develop a range of general and specific musical theatre skills. Children are also challenged to think critically with production themes often focussed on issues of social justice, respect and diversity. Performances also allow children from different communities across the region to work together on a collaborative Arts project. Children not only perform to friends and family, but also to children from local schools and early childhood centres who are invited to attend special performances, increasing the opportunities for school and preschool aged children in the local community to access and experience the Arts in a very direct and meaningful way.
