Charitable Purpose

The following vision, mission and values defines the purpose of Te Hononga o Tamaki me Hoturoa Vision Te Hononga Hauora Maori, Hauora Tangata, Hauora Whanau. Mission Te Hononga will provide Maori centred health and well being services, connecting whanau with their community. Goals By 2017 everything we do will be focused on connecting whanau with the support needed to achieve their health and wellbeing. By 2025 Te Hononga will be a centre of innovation in improving Maori health and wellbeing through connecting Whanau Values Hapai – Accountability Ka mahi kia heke whakarunga - We will work to reach the ultimate goals Whakatinana – Innovation Ka whai kia tutuki tetahi ahuatanga - We will endeavour to make a difference Tika – Honesty He whakaritenga e whakaae ana te katoa - We will reach and acceptance together Arahi - Leadership Ka haere i mua i tetahi atu kai mohio ai ia ki te huarahi - I/We will go ahead of others so as I/we can show the way
