Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

As an Incorporated Society we were guided by the objective of our Constitution; to conduct, administer and maintain a quality Early Childhood Care and Education Centre, reflecting the different cultural values of the families attending creche. Our Mission Statement stated; the creche is a place and a community in which staff and parents work together to fulfill the child's development potential by providing quality early childhood learning in a safe, secure, supportive and positive environment.

Entity Structure

Miramar Community Creche Inc. was an independent community based not-for-profit licensed early childhood education and care centre, running 4.75 hour sessions Monday - Friday for the education and care of children aged from 1 - 4 years. The creche was governed by an elected Advisory Committee. The daily running of the centre was managed together by a centre manager and a senior teacher, supported by 5 other staff members.
