Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To provide a safe caring homely environment delivering respectful and dignified care with commitment and enthusiasm, as a living example of the charism of the Institute de Notre Dame des Missions (“the Institute”), the company’s sole shareholder. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40

Entity Structure

The company is a registered charitable company, wholly owned by the Institute de Notre Dame des Missions (“the Institute”). The Institute appoints three directors, who meet quarterly, to govern the single care facility operated by the company. The company works closely with the Taranaki District Health Board, the facility doctor, Vivian Pharmacy, and various agencies for in-service training, to meet their mission of care for their residents and staff.
