Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

TTEAC's purpose is to: assist Canterbury NZ Nurses Organisation members to further their education relating to their area of practice. To assist attendance at relevant courses, seminars and conferences and promote the development of locally held seminars.

Entity Structure

The Committee is made up of a Chair, Vice-Chair, and 5 others members nominated and elected from the Canterbury membership of the NZ Nurses Organisation' Regional Council. They meet in April and October each year to deliberate on the applications received. The Secretary is usually a non-elected administrator from the Christchurch office charged with the responsibility to assist the Committee in any way necessary to fulfill their function.
