Charitable Purpose

Arthur's Pass Rescue is the local volunteer organisation providing search and rescue support for the lost, missing and injured. Our search and rescue volunteers freely contribute their time, but we need to train and equip them. The goodwill and generosity of the public can help us fund accredited training programmes, ongoing operational expenses and equipment purchases.

Entity Structure

Charitable organisation. The operation of the organisation is exclusively charitable purposes as defined under the Charities Act 2005 and not for private profit. The organisation appoints from its membership a Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer to be the Officers of the Committee.
