Charitable Purpose

St Andrews Playcentre is a family/whanau led, licensed early childhood Centre. We are a co-operative community based Centre, where play and learning are valued for children and their whanau. Playcentre is a family organization where *we empower adults and children to play, work, learn and grow together *we honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and celebrate people's uniqueness *we value and affirm parents as the first and best educators of their children so that whanau are strengthened and communities enriched.

Entity Structure

St Andrews Playcentre is managed and governed by the members of the WPA SPACE Team. St Andrews Playcentre is a member of the Waikato Playcentre Association, which is a member of the New Zealand Playcentre Federation (NZPF). These bodies provide support and guidance for our Centre and the office-holders, to ensure we are aware of good practice and meet all regulatory requirements.
