Charitable Purpose

To record and interpret the story of the Awarua Radio Station. To preserve material associated with the Awarua Radio Station and the development of telecommunications in Southland. To detail the history of the development of telecommunications in Southland. To retain and display significant films relating to Southland's 20th century history.
