Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The purpose of Kawakawa Bay Boat Club Inc is to provide, promote and maintain a spirit of friendship among owners of boats and small craft of every description from Kawakawa Bay and surrounding areas. Kawakawa Bay Boat Club organise safe launching and retrieving and other functions for the benefit and enjoyment of members of the club and public members and their families. Kawakawa Bay Boat Club provides all weather, all tide boating facilities, which are continually improved at the Boat Ramps for the benefit of members and fee paying general public. Kawakawa Bay Boat Club contracts individuals to assist members and general public in the safe launching and retrieving of their boats from the waters of the Hauraki Gulf South East of Auckland. The Boat Club is available to launch boats in all tidal weathers and 7 days of the week. At end of 2022 financial year Kawakawa Boat Club had 1500 members who had joined the club.
