Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Obesity in today's world is blatantly visible yet the most neglected public health problem and while our focus has been to ensure that we provide our youth with the right tools and steps required to fight obesity for life we have evolved our offering to provide a holistic approach that focuses on physical, emotional and mental health – preventing, reducing and eliminating health risks, reducing anxiety and depression. Helping our youth build self-worth and confidence so that they believe in themselves. The Monty Betham "Steps for Life" foundation is focused in empowering young New Zealander's to make real sustainable changes towards living healthier happier lives that will enable them to reach their full potential in life. Our mission is to empower NZ youths and their families to live healthier happier lives and provide sustainable programmes that improve the health and wellbeing of our nation.
