Charitable Purpose

"Whakapūmautia te tangata, i tōna ake mana" Tino Rangatiratanga has its roots in the empowerment of each individual, whānau, hāpu and iwi so they sustain control of themselves, and as their skill base grows, enhance all those things believed essential to their unique identity. Strategic Objective: To resonate whanau ora within the embrace of our ancestral tīpuna whare, 'Tamatea Pokaiwhenua'. How will we achieve this? We will do this primarily through planned acquisition, investment in, and development of our people; kaumātua, pākeke, mātua, rangatahi, tamariki and mokopuna by: - Facilitating whanau centred opportunities - Strengthening organisation governance - Maximising healthcare and welfare provision - Enhancing and supporting hapu leadership
