Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

• to New Zealand service persons wherever in the world they may be located but with particular attention to those within New Zealand; • to assist with the establishment of new war memorials where appropriate throughout New Zealand; • to foster a feeling of "nationhood" in New Zealand through educating the youth of New Zealand on its proud war history and encouraging attendance and participation at ANZAC Day memorial services and other related functions • to promote the welfare of returned servicemen and women • to provide education services and facilities to the public of New Zealand concerning the ANZAC tradition and the history of that day and the services provided by the trust
