Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To teach persons to play the various brass and silver band instruments. To form and control junior bands. To afford musical entertainment to the people of Waimate and elsewhere as required, and to carry out the usual functions of a Band when called upon to do so.

Entity Structure

The Band affairs are to be run by and executive committee, consisting of a President, Secretary/Treasurer, Conductor/Band Master, Sergeant, and a minimum of 2 playing members elected at the AGM.
