To promote and enhance the interests and well being of decendants, beneficiaries and future uri of the Pohotiare hapu. To administer the use of hapu land. Support hapu independence and self sufficiency. Promote tikanga Maori. Improve health, housing, welfare and education of the hapu. To whaka whanaungatanga with all parties (nga tanga katoa o nga hau e wha)
