Charitable Purpose

To hold annually or at other periodical intervals an agricultural show. To promote the development of agricultural, pastoral, forestry, horticultural, viticultural, agri-business and stock-raising resources and any activities which may be connected with or deemed to be beneficial to such resources.

Entity Structure

The Cheviot A & P Association is currently goverened by an Executive Committee. It consists of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past President. We also have a committee of representatives of the sheep, horse, cattle, ground, planning, maintenance, farm management, shed & trade space. The Association is governed by the rules of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand and is a member of the Central District of this Society.
