Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust is established to: (a) provide education advancement for all people particularly youth through fund-raising activities; (b) provide funding support, initiatives, projects and partnerships on career opportunities for people in the greater Rotorua district; (c) provide an appropriate vehicle for education, industrial and community groups to promote their activities; (d) carry out any other charitable object which seems to the Board capable of being achieved in connection with its objects and purposes or calculated to advance them. The mission is achieved by holding an annual careers expo incorporating tertiary education and training providers from throughout New Zealand; major Rotorua businesses and community groups. While the primary focus is on secondary school students , the Expo is free of charge and open to all sectors of the Rotorua community, including career changers.
