Charitable Purpose

We support individuals, families and whānau with over 70 types of neuromuscular (muscle-wasting) conditions across the lower North Island, as a member-led disabled persons' organisation we are committed to providing community-based and individually tailored member support. This can include providing specialist information and practical resources; campaigns for public awareness and advocacy; partnering with clinicians to deliver best-practice care; and providing member events, social activities and peer-support opportunities for our members, their families, and support networks.
