Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To Build Christ like Communities that Reflect Tikanga Maori. In support of our mission Te Hui Amorangi ki Te Tairawhiti will act as a provider of Christian ministry within Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa and promote the Anglican Consultative Counci’s (ACC) Five Fold Mission Statement to; 1. Proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God. 2. Teach baptise and nurture new believers. 3. Respond to human need by loving service. 4. Seek to transform unjust structures of society. 5. Care for the environment.
