Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Pukehina EduCare Trust is run on a not for profit, break-even basis. Parents and the community are often unaware of the difference between commercial (for-profit) and community owned (not-for-profit) children's services. There are no owners, directors or shareholders requiring a financial return on an investment. Financial management decisions ensure that any funding is used to support quality teachers.

Entity Structure

Our Trust Deed states that we must have between three and six Trustees. We currently have three Trustees that constitute our governance board. Our Education team is managed by the Licensee/Manager with a team of four other paid employees, a Head Teacher, two teachers and an administrator.
