Charitable Purpose

The New Zealand Barbarian Rugby Club is incorporated for the purpose of promoting amateur rugby for the recreation or entertainment of the general public. In doing so it shall have regard to the development of youth through the sport of rugby for the benefit of the community at large. Through their sponsorship of various sporting events and school tournaments, the Club brings together old and new rugby players and provides opportunities for young students to travel and play different schools all over New Zealand. This contributes to developing the players, schools and provides entertainment for the general public.
