Entity Structure

Tairua Playcentre is managed and governed by the parents of the children who attend the centre. Every parent/whanau of the enrolled children is a member of the committee and decisions are made via consensus. Offices are elected from amongst the committee. Tairua Playcentre is a member of the TVC playcentre Association, which is a member of the New Zealand Playcentre Federation(NZPF). These bodies provide support and guidance for our centre and the office holders.
