Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To operate C Company Memorial House as an exhibition facility memorialising the soldiers who fought in C Company of the 28th Maori Battalion. To preserve, revive, maintain and to extend the collection of oral history, photographs, memorabilia, videotapes, computer database, publications, books, written material, maps and history generally of C Company. To inform the people of Aotearoa of the achievements of the members of C Company. To promote and encourage the better education of Maori. To undertake and/or fund research of courses of study and develop such policies as will enable the social status of Maori to be improved. To do all things which the Trustees consider necessary of desirable for the purpose of achieving or promoting any of the objectives or purpose.
