To promote the theme of Christmas through entertainment and enjoyment of the communities comprising of the Southland region with particular focus on entertainment for children and families. To facilitate for the people of Southland an annual Christmas parade for the purposes of entertainment and involving the entire community. To foster goodwill amongst the people of Southland by the promotion of Southland and its involvement in the provision of activities for children.
