Charitable Purpose

Napier Women's Refuge is formed to empower women and their children experiencing family violence and abuse in all its forms by providing information, support and advocacy through liaising with legal, medical, counselling and other social agencies in a culturally appropriate manner.

Entity Structure

The Society is administered by a Governance Board of not less than 6 members or and no more than 12 members. The management of the Society is carried out by a Manager employed as an employee. The Manager overseas the employment of 5 staff members, along with contractors and volunteers as necessary.
