Charitable Purpose

To uphold the mana and wellbeing of wāhine and tamariki affected by whānau violence by providing a safe and nurturing environment, holistic support, and advocacy. Whakatū Refuge Trust is committed to manaaki those in need, strengthening whānau ora, promoting resilience and empowerment, and fostering kotahitanga within the community. The Trust works to prevent harm, support recovery, and create a future where all whānau can thrive in safety and dignity.
