“The Company has the capacity to carry on or undertake any business or activity, do any act or enter into any transaction PROVIDED HOWEVER that the Company shall exercise all such powers and privileges and apply all income and/or capital of the Company exclusively for the charitable purposes in New Zealand listed below for the benefit of Moeraki Rünaka (Te Rūnanga o Moeraki Incorporated Society) and communities associated with and connected to the region of Te Waipounamu:” Its Charitable Purposes include 14 ranges of activities broadly grouped around providing activities leading to health and wellbeing for the poor and needy, providing education and training, maintaining Māori cultural facilities and providing Māori cultural activities, and contributing to environmental sustainability. “As a charity Moeraki Limited is committed to growing and protecting the Company’s investment base so these assets may be used to enhance the wellbeing and cultural strength of those who whakapapa
