Charitable Purpose

Financial Mentors • Help whanau/families to reduce debt or clear debt. • Assist with goal plans to help whanau live within their means. • Ensuring that mentors are trained and resourced. • Working within constitutional objectives, The Treaty of Waitangi and our policies and procedures. • Recognising and valuing the work of volunteers. • Identifying gaps in the service provision. • Publicising and promoting budgeting. • Providing education for the wider community in which we serve. • The aim, purpose and philosophy of the Otaki Family Budgeting service are as stated in the constitution Code of Ethics and MSD Building Financial capabilities.
