Charitable Purpose

The centre's vision is to be a vibrant community hub that assists Tahunanui to thrive. Our mission is - Connecting local people, supporting life- long learning, and being a catalyst for positive locally-led action and change. Values/principles: • Responsive – activities and services match local people’s needs and dreams • Welcoming – embracing and encouraging everyone who walks through the door • Inclusive – where all ages, cultures, needs, aspirations are valued and respected. • Enabling –building community from local people’s gifts, talents and leadership. • Collaborative – proactively working with others to make Tahuna a great place to live. • Creative – a colourful, chaotic, and fun place to learn, connect, work and play.
