Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To advance maritime heritage within the Wellington region. To raise and enhance community and public understanding of maritime heritage. To manage, promote and develop maritime heritage projects. the current active project being undertaken is the restoration of the Wellington based floating crane heavy lift ship built in 1926 known as the "Hikitia".
