Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

RSCM, as a world-wide ecumenical network of over 8,500 church organisations, schools and related entities together with the billions of adherents involved. It is dedicated to achieving the best use of good music in worship – whatever the resources, whatever the styles or genre. Through education, training, publications, advice and encouragement, we aim to enhance skills related to church music today and to invest in church music for the future. We do this by outreach, annual and frequent events from day sessions, weekends and residential seminars lasting up to a fortnight both in NZ and Australia. Such events are scheduled at venues variously between NZ and Australia.
