Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Key purpose of Focus Trust Inc. is to assist and support people with any significant disability/ies in continuing education and/or gaining and retaining employment. We do this by: providing employment support services free of charge to clients providing assistance with access to social assistance grants for people with disabilities providing an opportunity for people in similar circumstances to share, learn and grow in a supportive environment via a job club.

Entity Structure

Trust Structure:Our Trust Deed states that we must have a minimum of three trustees. Currently we have three trustees. We have a Chairperson/Treasurer and two other Board members. A minute secretary is co-opted from the staff to take minutes of Board meetings.Operational Structure:The Trust currently has five staff who run the operations. We employ an Executive Manager, an Office Manager, one Senior Employment Consultant and two part-time Employment Consultants.
