Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

The Trust's purpose is to a) Provide educational and personal development opportunities for children and young people through involvement in artistic projects b) Assist in the creation of works of art (theatrical, film/video, musical, visual art, multimedia or otherwise) that respond freshly and imaginatively to our social experience and history c) Expand audiences for New Zealand art by making work that is of high quality, affordable, relevant and accessible d) Build community by inclusive processes of selection for project participation by offering the opportunity for participation to sections of the community that do not normally have access to these opportunities. e) Create quality educational resources f) Create employment and performance opportunities for artists - in theatre, film/video, music, visual art, multimedia or otherwise.
