To operate a National dance archive for the following purposes in NZ. To bring dance to the attention of the NZ public. Encouraging the dance community to be responsible for documenting its history and depositing material, where appropriate, in national institutions. Undertaking oral histories of prominent dance practitioners for deposit in the National Library.
