Charitable Purpose

The Alliance has been providing French language tuition and cultural programmes in Wellington since 1908 and is one of Wellington's oldest and largest French institutions and resource centres. Our goal is to celebrate, promote, and teach French language and culture including other French-speaking countries, and to provide a meeting place or community, for people with a shared interest in the French language and French culture.
