To assist self-motivated adults with reading, writing, numeracy and other essential learning in order to empower them to achieve independence, attain their goals and fulfill their potential.

Entity Structure

Literacy Christchurch provides literacy services in Canterbury on a one-to-one or small group basis. Management of the organisation is undertaken by a full-time Manager. Tutoring is provided on both a paid and voluntary basis by part-time trained tutors. The organisation is overseen by a governance committee elected at the AGM and which meets regularly throughout the year to monitor activities.
