Charitable Purpose
Under our constitution, the objectives of the society are:
(a) To oversee the activities of the Wellington Youth Orchestra, the Wellington Youth Sinfionetta and any other grouping agreed to by the Board,
(b) To educate youth in the provincial district of Wellington in musical appreciation as applied to orchestral music,
(c) To provide the opportunity for youth to play in a symphony orchestra and to encourage youth players in symphonic music, and
(d) To provide performances by members of the society or other artists.
