Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To restore, to as natural a state as possible, a functioning ecosystem in the Brook Catchment (Nelson) with a corridor to the city. To control or eliminate pests from the core area of the Sanctuary. To create an educational resource. To create positive visitor experiences. To develop employment and training opportunities. To reintroduce lost species back into the Sanctuary. To generally do or perform such acts , matters or things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the foregoing objectives.
