Charitable Purpose

Waimakariri Marae purpose is to provide a venue/facilities for celebrations, weddings, christenings, tribal reunions, funerals, church gatherings and much more. Also our purpose can be seen in our vision statement “Kia piki te marae o waimakariri, ki te taiao, ki te ao maarama. Hei puawai i ngaa tumanako me nga wawata oo raatau wairua, rawa, tikanga, taonga tuku iho”. “A future where the hapu of Waimakariri Marae are self sufficient, and have the opportunity to achieve their Spiritual, Cultural, Social and Economic aspirations”.
