MissionStatement:Tongariro Whanau Support Trust aims to improve the general wellbeing, cultural identity, economic status, educational status,education achievements and the solidarity of individuals, families and whanau groups who reside in the Turangi district.

Entity Structure

The Board of Trustees is made up of eight (5) representatives with combined expertise in areas of financial management, community policing, education, cultural enhancement, environmental conservation, health and social services. The office of the Trust is located at 20 Kaheke Place in Turangi. The day-to-day management of operations is carried out by a full-time employee Manager. The Board of Trustees meets each month to review the Trusts progress, its financial performance and position.

Annual Returns

Annual Returns are due within 6 months of a charity’s balance date (financial year-end), or a longer period if an extension has been granted.
