To provide a diagnostic, information and advisory facility for diseases and conditions arising from exposure or attributable to asbestos in New Zealand and 2. to establish and maintain a register of persons suffering from diseases or conditions arising from or attributable to asbestos and 3. To appoint a national panel to be known as the "National Asbestos Advisory Panel"
