Charitable Purpose

The mission of Edmund Rice Camps Auckland is: • To provide a fun holiday experience in a safe, loving environment for children who need it due to family, financial or social reasons • To provide an opportunity for leaders to grow as people through service and personal reflection and to develop leadership skills which empower others

Entity Structure

Operational Structure: Our operations are overseen by an executive committee comprising of 8 members that are elected at our Annual General Meeting and 2 additional members appointed by the Provincial Leadership team of the Christian Brothers of New Zealand. Our service, camps for children, are each run by two Camp Captains –members of Edmund Rice Camps that are selected by the committee through an application process. They run a camp for approximately 25 children with the help of 25 leaders.
