Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

To fund and otherwise serve the civic ,cultural, social and moral welfare within the community of Ngongotaha ,and assisting the handicapped, disadvantaged and infirm in the local and wider community both directly and indirectly. The Lions Mission statement is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international co-operation

Entity Structure

The structure of the Ngongotaha Lions Club is made up 32 members . Eight board members are elected annually to have oversight of projects and all financial matters ,which in turn are brought to the members for approval /disapproval.
