Charitable Purpose

Vision: To inspire and influence current and future generations through the life and literature of Katherine Mansfield and the house, garden and collection at 25 Tinakori Road. Mission: To be a leading writer’s museum housed in a New Zealand heritage property that engages, educates and motivates visitors and supporters by celebrating Katherine Mansfield and her birthplace.

Entity Structure

The Society is administered by a Board and employs a full-time Director, a part-time Administrator and a part-time Accounts Officer to carry out the day-to-day operations of the House & Garden, and two Weekend Hosts.
