To promote and assist restoration and protection of the Onekaka river, the Onekaka estuary, and the adjoining riparian strips. To restore and protect a wildlife corridor along the Onekaka river.To enhance biodiversity values of the Washbourn Reserve and the Onekaka river and estuary, and foster public understanding of these.
