Charitable Purpose

The purpose of the Heretaunga VRFF is to undertake fire prevention measures as deemed necessary, and to respond to and extinguish fires in vegetation, provide initial attack and support to property fires, and to attend other such emergencies within its designated area of responsibility for the benefit of the community.
