Charitable Purpose

Synods are regional courts of the Methodist Church of New Zealand, responsible to the Conference of the Methodist Church and to the Parishes and Fellowships within their boundaries, to exercise governance on behalf of Conference, and to initiate, guide, encourage, and exercise a corporate episcopacy of the people called Methodists in their districts and regions, as part of the body of Christ. s.
