Purpose & Structure

Charitable Purpose

Parkinson's Northland provides information and support to people living with Parkinson's and related conditions so they can maintain their independence and lead full and fulfilling lives with their families/whanau, Carers, Resthomes, Hospitals and other Support Agencies.

Entity Structure

The Division consists of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and a Committee of not less than six (6) financial members. All of these positions are voluntary. The Division employs two Community Educators, one full time and one part time, along with a full time Coordinator to ensure People with Parkinson's are aware of the facilities and services available to them.
